When storing peanut shelling machine after using, remove the dust and dirt in the appearance and internal residual grain and other debris. Clean each part of the bearing with diesel and spread with butter after drying. Repaint the enameled parts of the peanut shelling machine. The machine should be covered and placed in a dry warehouse. Remove the belt and hang on the indoor wall and away from the sun.

Before using peanut shelling machine, the operator should check whether the fastener is tightened, the rotating part is flexible, each bearing has lubricating oil and the machine has been placed steadily first. In order to ensure the safety of operating personnel, grounding protection must also be taken on the shell of peanut sheller. Idling the peanut sheller for several rounds with manual labor before switching on the power. Identify the reason if there is a crash, then switch on the power.

When switching on the power, the direction of the rotor rotates should be consistent with the direction the machine marks. Idling for a few minutes first to observe whether there is abnormal noise. There are also requirements for the moisture content of peanut. Too wet or too dry is not allowed. If the peanut is too dry, the broken rate would be higher; while too wet would lower the speed of shelling. In winter, peanuts stored in rural areas are relatively dry. In order to make peanuts in proper moisture content, the following methods can be used: spray about 15 kilograms of warm water evenly in 100kg of peanuts before shelling, and covering with a plastic film for 10 hours or so, and then drying in the sun for about one hour and the peanuts can be shelled. In other seasons, the covering time should be 6 hours and the rest processes are the same. When shelling the peanuts, the feeding should be uniform and moderate. Iron, stones and other debris are absolutely not allowed to be mixed in the peanuts to prevent peanuts from breaking or mechanical accident. When peanuts are covered fully on the sieve surface, the operator can open the outlet switch. Appropriate screen should be used according to the size of peanut. The solution for the increasing of peanut shells is to move the motor downward to tension the fan belt and increase the blowing rate.
